A day by day account of my jaunt to a happier and healthier me... I'm a chubby chick in her 30's who is tired of being fat and miserable. I started this blog on 8-16-07 to document my weight loss journey. I've had lots of successes and failures along the way but I am not giving up. I'm recommitting to my goal today. Tuesday. January 1. 2008. I'm going to need help and encouragement along the way so please leave comments and advice if you visit. :) Which are you.. a worrier or a warrior? By "worrier" I mean someone who tends to let their emotions derail their charge loss efforts. By "warrior" I mean someone who tends to fight with a vengeance every enemy (including emotions) in the battle of the bulge with every weapon in their vast arsenal. Lately I have been a "worrier!" I have slowly been sliding out of "warrior-mode" and into "worrier-mode" ever since I had to socialise unwanted house guests in October. Then there was the stress of my stepdaughter's wedding to deal with. I was worried about facing hubby's plastic size 2 ex finding a dress that didn't make me look like a be cow etc. etc. etc. And after the wedding was all said and done.. it really wasn't that bad! All the stress was for nothing. I enjoyed myself and pretty much had a blast. The house guest fiasco really wasn't even THAT bad.. because they ended up cutting their visit short. So it was only HALF as bad as it could have been. Stressful definitely.. but I also definitely lucked out. And now I'm riding an emotional roller-coaster because of the upcoming holidays. I've been sad and mopey because none of my family will be here to celebrate with me. This will be the first Thanksgiving and Christmas that I've lived in a different state.. far far away from all people and things familiar. Hubby's work schedule has been EXTREMELY frustrating the measure 2 weeks as well. He's been working a lot of desire hours and when he does get home at night he pretty much eats supper falls asleep on the recliner gets up to consume and then goes to bed. So I haven't really been able to pay any quality time with him.. and it's driving me nuts! He's pretty much the ONLY person that I see on a day-to-day basis. I have no friends or family here and right now hubby is driving my vehicle because his is in the shop. So I can't even go to freaking Walmart during the day if I want to! And because I can't go to Walmart during the day. I haven't been able to do much grocery shopping.. so there is not much healthy food in the.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
